You will focus on problem-solving and risk management at both the enterprise and account levels, while balancing client service, operational and administrative capacity, and the protection of Royal Trust’s interests in accordance with the business’ risk tolerance.</p><p></p><p>This is a full-time contractual position of 15 months.</p><p></p><p><b>What will you do?</b></p><ul><li>Assist in providing ongoing support (including business-appropriate guidance and suggestions), primarily of a legal and analytical nature, to Royal Trust employees across Canada on civil law matters.</li><li>Assist the Principal Trust Specialist, Civil Law, in making reasoned and informed recommendations relating to estate, trust, and protection mandate/tutorship issues, including but not limited to interpretation issues, disbursements, succession of trustees, disputes and complaints, and all related issues.</li><li>Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact on complex legal issues for the Wills and Trusts Resource Group on civil law matters.</li><li>Review legal documentation related to client-specific situations or head office agreements to ensure legal accuracy, adherence to internal policy an
