Technical writers play a critical role in enabling on-time delivery of new products by collaborating closely with engineering teams to develop, review, and release high-quality documentation required for product shipment and customer delivery. In addition, technical writers help address safety-related issues and customer escalations, often under urgent timelines. This ensures accurate and compliant documentation is available to support safe product use in the field and directly contributes to customer satisfaction and successful product adoption
## What you will do The technical writer in this position is responsible for creating and editing technical procedures and manuals for Lam internal and external customers. This regular full-time position will be based in Fremont, California, and the writer will work closely with engineers, core writing staff, and cross-functional teams across Lam Research’s global regions. Primary responsibilities: * Create and thoroughly edit technical procedures and manuals for internal and external customers
* Collaborate with engineers and core writing staff to finalize procedures using Microsoft Word. * Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of technical content. * Create product manuals in the Content Management System (CMS)
