Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations and at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor
Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. ## What you’ll do * Manage a group of direct labors (Assemblers/Test Technicians) that run shifts in production area(s) to meet Safety & Quality requirements, production goals, and cost objectives within a cross-matrixed and global organization
* Enforce Safety & Quality regulations and protocols, conduct Safety & Quality audits, lead Safety & Quality related investigations. * Manage and allocate resources accordingly, manage & evaluate team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, fostering team-oriented environment. * Identify areas for improvement in production processes & implement strategies to enhance efficiency
* Prepare shiftly reports, chair production related meeting/huddle and communicate production status to upper management. * Partner with stakeholders to resolve production related challenges for example Safety/Quality issues, downtime, material shortages. * Proficiency in 8D and why-why write up, SAP usage
* Frequently interacts with subordinates, internal stakeholders
