Your role is pivotal in developing Hardware that support design, infrastructure, and technology platforms. Your expertise will determine hardware compatibility and influence design, ensuring seamless integration between software and hardware. In this role, you’ll make an impact across Lam’s entire product portfolio of equipment working within our centralized Controls engineering team, collaborating with some of the brightest minds in the industry
## Job Responsibilities * Execute design, development, verification, validation, and qualification of PC boards owned by the Controls group. * Coordinate and review PCB layout design for mixed‑signal PCBs. * Develop board‑level schematics for designs incorporating analog/digital I/Os, microprocessors, PLDs, DSPs, and 32/64‑bit processors
* Identify and select appropriate test equipment; leverage lab infrastructure to validate and bench‑test developed PC boards. * Own the product lifecycle and maintain comprehensive design documentation. * Collaborate with firmware engineers during hardware bring‑up and debugging
