Every day, developers unintentionally commit secrets into their repositories. Without intervention, this can cause damaging privacy and monetary losses

As a software engineer at GitHub, you will enhance the collaboration experience at GitHub by working closely with a community of engineers and designers with a distributed, diverse, and passionate team delivering the services that millions of developers depend on. In this role, you will design, prototype, implement, ship, and support highly performant and inspiring user experiences with your team

Responsibilities Write, review, and maintain clean, high-quality code primarily in Go, Ruby, JavaScript, or C#, delivering scalable technical solutions across multiple GitHub services. Collaborate with engineering teammates, product management, and design to define, prioritize, and build innovative new features that align with business objectives
