Job Description Summary GE Vernova Hydro Power is seeking a Project Director. In this role you will be responsible for the project delivery, Profit & Loss accountability, and Customer Satisfaction (including Voice of Customer) through management of project related activities and resources. The Project Director is assigned to execute directly one or more large projects (Variable role)
The Project Director owns/influences budgets and operating plans and is fully accountable for the financial results/KPIs of the projects managed within the Cluster. Internally, he manages the Project Managers in the cluster (in terms of priorities, performance, and development). Externally, he manages the relationship with external customers as the first level of escalation
The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit
The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgement and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes and targets.
