Let’s Talk about the Role The Plant Operations Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the power station, ensuring reliable performance, rapid response to grid demands, and appropriate action during emergencies. This role exists to maintain the continuous and dependable operation of the power station by overseeing turbine systems and all Balance of Plant equipment, carrying out frontline maintenance, and supporting the controlled release of plant for scheduled work. Operating across the field, Permit Office and Central Control Room, the Operations Technician ensures that all activities meet contractual obligations and grid requirements while upholding strict safety standards
The position plays a key part in identifying issues early, responding to abnormal conditions, and coordinating effectively with the Team Leader and maintenance teams to keep the station running smoothly and safely.
