## The group you’ll be a part of The Manufacturing Engineering team will be part of Lam Manufacturing Malaysia Operations, reporting into Global Operations. This function will partner with the other Operations team in Malaysia such as Manufacturing, Quality, Order Fulfilment, Logistics to deliver Operations Excellence, driving high quality, productivity and cost-effective performance in the safest environment ## The impact you’ll make In this position, as Manufacturing Engineering Manager your will lead a team of engineers to develop, implement and maintain operation methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. You will work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and manufacturing

The candidate should have good experience in semiconductor fab, very familiar with capital equipment and challenges. ## What you’ll do * Lead a manufacturing engineering organization in a dynamic, multi-product, multi-factory, global company * Lead the engineering team on new process and module deployment including defining the criteria, designs, documents, builds, calibrates, troubleshoots and meet/exceed all safety, quality, cost efficiency and productivity deliverables * Drive systems to maintain effective documentation of company products and resolve process and assembly issues cross functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, Pilot Manufacturing, and Design Engineering * Provide guidance on ERP system usage – SAP to manage day to day assembly issues * Influence design decisions - BOM structure, product commonality, component selection * To accelerate product transition and improve cost and quality performance * Requires capability to understand and explain Assembly Work Instructions * Delivering to product/program objectives for manufacturing quality, labor c
