This is a role that blends rigorous control engineering with hands-on software implementation — and where your work will directly influence how vessels around the world operate safely and efficiently. What You'll Do You'll be a core technical contributor to our DP product development team, owning the design and validation of control algorithms and providing expert support across the full product lifecycle

Specifically, you will: Develop and enhance DP control systems — specify and implement new developments to expand the capability of the existing DP system and associated tools; develop control algorithms for vessel movement; and lead modernisation and porting of existing functionality to new platforms and operating systems. Build and validate simulation environments — develop simulation environments in MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent tools to validate control algorithms, investigate issues reported on vessels in operation, and support continuous improvement and simplification of existing systems. Support projects and service teams — provide technical support to Issue-to-Order (ITO), Order-to-Receipt (OTR), commissioning, and global service teams; investigate and resolve operational issues reported from vessels in the fie
