This co-op position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-tech environment.<p style="text-align:inherit"><br /> </p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><p></p><ul><li>Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes for medical devices and components.</li><li>Support the implementation of new equipment, tooling, and automation solutions on the production floor.</li><li>Conduct process capability studies, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement in manufacturing yields and quality.</li><li>Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to manufacturing issues.</li><li>Contribute to the creation and revision of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process specifications.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Production, to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Perform time studies and lean manufacturing analyses to identify and eliminate waste in production processes.</li><li>Assist in the evaluation and selection of new manufacturing technologies and materials.</li><li>Support the validation of manufacturing processes and equipment.</li></ul><p><br /><b>Job Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Strong academic record.</li><li>Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, welding, or additive manufacturing.</li><li>Basic u
