As a Field Heavy Duty Mechanic, you’ll troubleshoot and perform running repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance across a wide range of Caterpillar Mining Equipment. Your work will include: Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a field environment Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Completing required paperwork and maintaining clear customer communication Specific Skills & Experience Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr) 3+ years experience as a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician, with demonstrated time in the field Strong skills in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems Engine and/or component rebuilding experie
