The role supports embedding safety into daily operations, projects, and processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements and driving continuous improvement in EHS performance.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><b>Job Description</b></h1><h2>Responsibilities</h2><p></p><div><ul><li><p>Conduct risk assessments and implement effective hazard control measures using practical and engineering solutions</p></li><li><p>Provide day-to-day EHS support across operations, quality, warehousing, and construction activities</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation, permits, and standards</p></li><li><p>Support safe systems of work, including permit-to-work and high-risk activities</p></li><li><p>Contribute to the development and maintenance of EHS and Environmental Management Systems (ISO standards)</p></li><li><p>Monitor environmental aspects such as emissions, wastewater, waste management, and resource use</p></li><li><p>Participate in incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions</p></li><li><p>Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and track performance metrics to drive improvement</p></li><li><p>Deliver EHS training and promote a strong safety and environmental culture</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operations and projects</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Qualifications and requirements</h2><ul><li><p>Third level qualification (minimum NFQ 8) in EHS, Engineering, or Science discipline or equivalent</p></li><li><p>Strong experience in a manufacturing or industrial
