As a Director within Supply Chain, this executive will play a crucial and influential role in Lam’s overall success.This individual will collaborate closely with the executive management team, Supply Chain executives, and Product Group executives. The position is based in Livermore, CA, and includes worldwide travel. ## What you’ll do Architect and deliver a comprehensive end-to-end strategy that supports Lam’s three-year horizon: * * Supplier selection (expansion and consolidation) to meet business needs
* Drive and focus supplier investments (R&D and capacity expansion) aligned with Lam’s needs. * Responsible for commercial negotiations that achieve annual objectives for cost, quality, lead time, and flexibility. * Develop a three-year vision, strategy, and organizational structure for assigned commodities
The strategy should enhance competitive differentiation and address commodity availability, quality, and cost. * Operations responsibilities include meeting operational metrics for assigned commodities. * Anticipate, identify, and evaluate current and future issues, and promote new ideas to provide strategy and direction across areas of influence
