Job Description Summary We are seeking an experienced and driven Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations within Bucharest generator parts manufacturing unit. This role is responsible for organizing and leading projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization, developing, improving, and sustaining robust manufacturing processes for critical generator components, with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost. The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will work cross-functionally with operations, quality, sourcing, design/repair engineering, maintenance, and EHS to drive process capability, implement advanced manufacturing methods, support new product and process introduction, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, insulation, and other generator component production processes as applicable

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and the capability to support both daily production needs and long-term manufacturing strategy. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of 3 years. Job Description Key Responsibilities Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for large generator components and subassemblies Provide day-to-day engineering support to production operations to resolve process issues, improve throughput, and reduce variation Lead process development and industrialization efforts for new products, product changes, and transferred work Evaluate current manufacturing methods and identify opportunities to improve safety, ergonomics, quality, cycle time, and cost Design and support tooling, fixtures, jigs, work holding, process flow, and plant layout improvements Drive productivity
