TA Medical Lead

About this role

Typical Accountabilities Manages teams supporting the oncology brand strategy, ensuring effective collaboration between the Field Medical Liaison Team, internal cross functional teams, and external stakeholders Potentially oversees clinical trials and/or patient safety activities Ensures that all work is complaint with AstraZeneca standards and external regulation Maintains relationships with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders to develop a better understanding of their information needs and respond accordingly Provides scientific consultancy to support key meetings with internal and external stakeholders Oversees and delivers education workshops with the local community and medical groups as required Essential Bachelor’s Degree in life science, at least 5 years pharmaceutical industry working experience in medical affairs function Thorough knowledge and experience within the area of field medical liaisons or advisors Ability to manage incoming insights or requests in a timely manner and take action when appropriate Ambitious, collaboration-mindset and demonstrate leadership to influence, good communication skills Experience of managing clinical trials and projects Knowledge of legislation relevant to pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and market access Desirable Advanced Degree in life science (Master, PhD, MD) Connections in the local medical community People management or coaching experience in medical affairs Date Posted 28-May-2026 Closing Date 27-Sep-2026 AstraZeneca embraces diversity and equality of opportunity.
