SYSTEMS DESIGN/ARCHITECT ENGINEER

The position will require the individual to lead Micron 7550 and 7600 SSD products customer qualifications, by utilizing customer provided systems/servers to test Micron products according to customer specific requirements and Open Compute Project (OCP) specifications

They will conduct system and device level testing, debug & triage Micron device issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve. They will be responsible for designing and implementing SSD testing infrastructure for better testing productivity and efficiency. Partner multi-functionally and cross-site with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and other engineering groups to collaborate in developing strategies to implement validation deliverables

Serve as the subject matter expert for validation on customer test requirements, associated industry certifications and results. Review and challenge current test plans, coverage, and testing activities to drive both increased effectiveness and efficiencies across the product portfolio. Recommend and instrument new validation approaches that drive better coverage, more accurate testing, and expanded testing services

Utilize technical, project, and delegation experience to actively lead product test cycles. Requirement Analysis Maintain knowledge of product functionality and associated industry certifications. Study of product requirements to intensify stability

Identification of suitable testing equipment Feedback & influence product design for the definition and implementation of new requirements/performances. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates. Validation Strategy Definition of test cases to verify functional
