Job ID: J-00341830 Introduction to the job The SS&P SEA organization aims to increase technical collaboration with our suppliers and ASML D&E. Teams and departments will be located near customers, manufacturing and suppliers in China, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States. These teams will perform engineering activities for supplier development, factory engineering, NPI maturation and improvements to our installed base across all business lines
In Singapore and Malaysia components, parts and modules for our DUV machines will be sourced as part of the DUV Cost Competitiveness program. These sourcing activities include both transfers as well as NPI sourcing . To secure the quality and output of these new the suppliers a team of local supplier development engineers will be set up
The team in Singapore and Malaysia will start at 6 FTE, is expected to grow to 15 FTE by 2026 and from there grow and develop further. These positions are at local offices in Malaysia or Singapore, co-located with strategic sourcing & procurement teams and close to the suppliers. The teams report hierarchically into the SS&P SEA Organization. Role and responsibilities You are the technical interface between the engineering team and the supplier for the repair parts, components and modules
This includes both new parts as well as transfers. The role of supplier development engineer (SDE) contains both supplier quality engineering (SQE) and technical supplier management (TSM) responsibilities. You partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure proactive quality management of several parts through early supplie
