QGOV is seeking a results-oriented Staff Product Manager to manage multiple products and technology areas as part of highly strategic, complex government programs. The ideal candidate is an outstanding team player, self-starter, and can thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced technical environment. This individual has both a Product Management and technical background, is capable of simultaneously managing multiple products and technology areas
Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical, including the ability to create and effectively present product plans and roadmaps to diverse audiences. Key responsibilities include: Directing a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. Defining the requirements and interdependencies of assigned products and technology areas
Working with proposal teams to prepare responses to customer RFPs. Establishing regular communications with upper management and other stakeholders regarding products and technology areas. Interacting with Engineering, Program Management, Business Development and other internal functional groups as required to ensure alignment and accomplish objectives as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle
A successful applicant must have excellent interpersonal, teamwork, mentoring, and organizational skills, as well as proven Product Management skills with an emphasis on Qualcomm products, technologies, roadmaps, and ecosystems with advanced knowledge of internal Qualcomm systems and an extensive network of Product Management contacts within the company.
