THE ROLE: As part of the AMD Embedded Processor Development Team, We are seeking a hands-on Automation Engineer to define and scale automation strategy across semiconductor system teams—including silicon bring-up, platform software, firmware, drivers, virtualization, and end-to-end system validation. Owns the architecture, and execution of automation frameworks, continuous integration, large-scale lab orchestration, performance regression, and quality dashboards. THE PERSON: Seasoned Automation Lead engineer Excellent communicator, inter personal skills, team player and leader Self-driven, enjoys new challenges and quickly adapts to change in a fast-moving environment Proven experience leading automation or infrastructure teams Track record of driving org-wide technical transformations Strong executive communication skills Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term platform investments KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the AUTOMATION STRATEGY across system validation, SoC platforms, and software stacks Standardize CI/CD pipelines Own tooling decisions: test orchestration, lab control, results analytics, dashboards Leverage AI Solutions for driving efficiency improvements across the organization Proactively drive continuous improvement for post-
