Job Description This attorney in Visa’s Legal and Compliance group will be part of the team that works on Visa’s global M&A transactions and investments in support of Visa’s corporate development and venture investments teams. This job is based in San Francisco, CA or Atlanta, GA
The attorney will work with internal clients to explore M&A and investment opportunities and execute transactions. The attorney will support transaction teams from the legal and compliance groups and work collaboratively with other members of the legal and compliance team and other stakeholders within the company. In addition, Visa is looking for someone who will: Support the review, drafting and negotiation of definitive documents and other agreements
Conduct and help coordinate due diligence efforts and support review of materials. Support the development of legal aspects of Visa’s M&A and investment strategy, including by reviewing executive presentations and other materials. Help coordinate and contribute to integration of newly acquired businesses
Supervise outside counsel and effectively manage legal costs. Design, recommend and implement new processes and procedures to increase team efficiency and organization and the effectiveness of team efforts. Deliver clear and concise business-focused legal counsel
