<h2>Job Title:</h2>Senior Technical Animator<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Requisition ID:</h2>R025422<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2>Job Description:</h2><p>Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Senior Technical Animator to join the development of an exciting new IP.<br /> <br />You will become and be part of a tight-knit team that prides itself on creating complex, high-quality and believable content. </p><p><br />Using your experience, on this project you will positively contribute to our studio — with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.</p><p></p><ul><li><b>Key Responsibilities</b></li><li>Develop, maintain, and refine animation pipelines and systems within DCC tools (e.g., Autodesk Maya, MotionBuilder).</li><li>Collaborate closely with animators, artists, and engine programmers to ensure seamless integration of assets into the game engine.</li><li>Set up and utilize <b>real-time ragdoll and IK systems</b> to serve animation and gameplay requirements.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve technical animation problems, providing hands-on support to the animation team.</li><li>Liaise with character modelers, texture artists, animators, and engine teams to integrate rigs and motion-capture data effectively.</li></ul><h3>·<b>Required Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li><b>5+ years of experience</b> in AAA game development as a Technical Animator, Technical Artist, or a similar role focused on animation systems</li></ul><h3>·<b>Required Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Solid experience with <b>real-time game engines</b> and integrating animations into in-game environments</li><li>Well-grounded knowledge of <b>anatomy, character kinematics</b>, and deformation methods that support realistic and stylized animation</li><li>Strong grasp of <b>animation principles</b> and their application in both keyframe and procedural contexts</li><li>Proficiency in <b>Python, MEL</b>, or simil
