Primary duties and responsibilities: Defines and drives overall integrated silicon photonic chip development plan at system and device level, possessing expertise in the design and simulation of silicon photonic integrated circuit components and systems

Designs and optimizes photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and plays a key role in the development of photonic technologies including complex active and passive large-scale PICs. Owns overall silicon PIC development execution and coordination from architecture definition and chip design, to layout, test, validation, data analysis, and covers performance debug, reliability qualification, and KGD delivery. Works cross functionally with foundries, design, validation, quality and reliability teams
