Senior Finance Manager, Azure Revenue Planning

About this role

You'll be the Finance SME and key business partner for our Database portfolio. Azure Databases include some of our most critical workloads including Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and DocumentDB. This is an exciting role in a high impact and ambiguous space, and we are looking for a candidate who thrives in accelerated, dynamic environments

The Azure business relies heavily on advanced finance partnership to enable success and you will exercise significant influence across engineering, marketing, sales, corporate strategy, and business planning organizations. You'll need to create frameworks to clarify and synthesize requirements. Often you will bring data-driven insights to business partners and validate go/no go outcomes with rigorous financial modelling

Ensures compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring the accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Supports questions regarding documentation, policy adherence, and requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field Ability to effectively manage multiple inputs across many stakeholders, prioritizing the effort on main drivers Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves rapidly

Proven analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills Exhibit a proactive and innovative mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and generate creative solutions. Show propensity for learning, and demonstrate ability to identify, analyze, interpret, and deliver sound solutions Executive level oral and written communication skills - ability to communicate complex analysis and models in a simple way
