Growing together. The MS SQL Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of SQL Server databases across development, test, and production environments. This role ensures high availability, optimal performance, and compliance with enterprise standards while supporting application teams and business stakeholders

Primary Responsibilities: Administer, monitor, and maintain SQL Server databases (on-prem and cloud-based) Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Configure and maintain AlwaysOn Availability Groups for high availability and disaster recovery Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and index management Manage database security, including role-based access control and auditing Apply patches, upgrades, and support version migrations (e.g., SQL Server 2008 to 2019+) Automate routine tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, or other scripting tools Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams to support deployments and troubleshoot issues Document database environments, configurations, and procedures Participate in on-call rotation and provide 24/7 support as needed AI And Cloud Enablement Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in team
