Position Summary The Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe environment for employees and visitors of the Home Office. The Security Coordinator is actively involved in overseeing the compliance of Costco’s security policies and procedures. Additionally, this person will operate a shuttle bus providing transport for employees and visitors around the Home Office campus

The Security department is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Job Duties/Essential Functions Assists with security and safety efforts for the Home Office campus. Provides exceptional customer/guest services

Maintains fire alarm and fire suppression systems. Utilizes access control systems and video monitoring systems. Manages front desk and security podium daily operations

Operates and maintains shuttle buses/company vehicles. Operates multi-line phone systems. Assists with set up and breakdown of multipurpose and Budget rooms

Assists with commute guaranteed ride scheduling. Assists with shuttle service scheduling/driving. Serves as staff support to security management and assists in conducting investigations

Assists with Reception tasks when assigned. Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery

13 passenger shuttle bus, phones, Sonim radios, fire panels, electric pallet jack, forklift, badge access systems, camera systems, and power tools. Non-Essential Functions Assists in other areas of the department as necessary. Assists in other areas of the company as necessary
