In this highly visible role, you will be designing wireline high-speed analog mixed-signal circuitry for data center connectivity applications

Qualifications include: Masters degree and 6+ years of related experience or PhD and 3+ years of related experience Research and apply cutting edge design and validation for analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits for high-speed Serial link applications such as: fiber optic communication systems, Gigabit Ethernet (GE), enterprise storage and wireless network routers. Research novel circuit techniques to achieve maximum speed and performance, while minimizing the power and area requirements. Design, develop, modify and evaluate electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems

Determine design approaches and parameters. Analyze equipment to establish operating data; conduct experimental tests and evaluate results. Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability

Layout/design work in a non-ASIC product environment. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Characterize and debug analog designs for manufacturability. Create circuit models to define package and pc board requirements
