We are seeking an exceptional PhD-level Quantum Device Measurement Engineer to join our pioneering quantum computing team in Oregon. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of fundamental quantum physics and practical semiconductor technology, characterizing silicon spin qubits at millikelvin temperatures using state-of-the-art dilution refrigerators

You'll play a crucial role in advancing Intel's silicon quantum dot technology while contributing to the development of scalable quantum systems that will revolutionize computing. Key Responsibilities Design and execute innovative quantum device measurement experiments to characterize silicon spin qubits Perform hands-on electrical measurements using dilution refrigerators and cryogenic systems at millikelvin temperatures Analyze quantum device performance data and develop predictive models for device optimization Collaborate with cross-functional teams including device fabrication, software development, and systems integration Develop efficient device testing and verification methodologies for quantum processors Study quantum phenomena including coherence times, fidelity measurements, quantum gates, and error characterization Propose and implement breakthrough ideas to accelerate Intel's quantum computing ro
