Principal/Senior Technician, Global Engineering Labs

Responsibilities: - Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process - Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings • Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts

- Rebuilds engineering equipment as required - May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. - Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system. - Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment

- Respond to customer requests and Prioritize customer requests accordingly. - Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety. - Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines

- Support internal and external audits - Product tracking and inventory controls. - Work closely and liaise with machine vendors for equipment setup, modification/upgrade and repair. - Foster closer collaboration amongst cross functional teams

- Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions. Requirements: Must be able to work 12 hours shift, including night shift. Minimum Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing proces
