Progress starts with you. Job Description We are seeking a Network Test & Certification Engineer with deep expertise in various network platforms and systems. This position will work in a Network Lab managing different equipment deployed in the Visa Network environment
The candidate will perform various functions to install new devices, build network topologies, install cables, configure network devices, troubleshoot connectivity, build systems and applications to manage the end-to-end network in the network lab. Some travel (up to 10%) may be required for training, project-related activities, and vendor engagements. Responsibilities: Promote a culture prioritizing safety, security, and compliance across all datacenter operations
Configure and validate console and Ethernet management connectivity for new equipment. Set up routers, switches, firewalls, VMware, HyperV, and OSV to establish comprehensive test environments. Create virtual machines, install applications, and manage lab user accounts
Administer Windows servers and apply patches to address vulnerabilities. Automate repeatable tasks to manage the lab Rack, stack, and supply power to servers, switches, and routers within telecommunications racks and cabinets. Complete cabling assignments according to diagrams provided by senior engineers
Update inventory systems as necessary. Install application software on both Windows and Linux platforms. Provide remote suppor
