The group makes private equity, growth equity, and structured credit investments across industries. The strategy capitalizes on both connectivity with Morgan Stanley IBD and GCM as well as relationships outside of the firm for sourcing, diligence, and value creation after the investment. The team is a generalist group that invests in both large cap and middle market deals with check sizes of $50-$750MM+

Recent industry focus includes investments in tech/cybersecurity, media, sports, business services and infrastructure technology. Responsibilities: MSIM Tactical Value is looking for a Pre-MBA Associate/Analyst to work directly with senior investors and decision-makers and serve as a key contributor throughout the lifecycle of investing, including the evaluation of investment opportunities, conducting in-depth sector analysis, developing and analyzing financial projections and valuations, and monitoring portfolio companies post investment
