ProHealth Physicians has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient-focused and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our growing Pediatrics team. The position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. This position will support the care team and its patients by greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, answering telephone inquiries, collecting payments and maintaining demographic information

Additionally, they will routinely use the electronic health record (EHR) according to ProHealth policies and standard workflows. May be asked to float to local practices in the region for coverage depending on business need. Schedule: Monday - Friday, will work an 8-hr shift between the business hours of 7:45am - 7:15pm

Will be required to work rotating Saturdays (approximately once every 5 weeks), 8am - 1:30pm Location: Will be covering both sites below (Saturday rotation is only in the Madison office) 1110 DURHAM RD. CLINTON, CT Primary Responsibilities: Conduct check-in and check-out process Answer incoming calls and use EHR to document details of patient inquiries Conduct outreach to patients requiring appointments or service follow-up Schedule appointments using standard scheduling protocols Manage administrative in-basket pools and work queues Scan documents into the EHR per standard protocols Balance payments and prepare deposits Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal and financial information Provide coverage at other ProHealth locations on an ad ho
