The Medical Assistant provides patient care in accordance with established methods and techniques and conforms to recognized standards. The Medical Assistant assists practitioner in performing procedures, telephone prescription orders/refills, maintaining patient records and relaying test results. Primary Responsibilities: Will participate and maintain a culture within The Corvallis Clinic that is consistent with the content outlined in the Service and Behavioral Standards document

To this end, employee will be expected to read, have familiarity, and embrace the principles contained within Directs patient flow and prepares patients for exams Obtains chief complaint, patient history, vital signs, and any other pertinent information and ensures accurate documentation in the EHR in a timely manner Retrieves and communicates laboratory and radiology test results and instructs patients regarding medications and treatment per practitioner's instructions Accepts and returns patient phone calls in a timely manner, as per provider direction, w
