Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>MANUFACTURING ENGINEER, AVIONICS (STARSHIP)</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>The Starship Avionics Manufacturing Engineer role is responsible for supporting avionics manufacturing and test of wire harnessing, electro-mechanical hardware, and other avionics system components to rapidly build Starship vehicles. Manufacturing Engineers will be responsible for continuous improvement and innovation to achieve high-quality and high-rate throughput

Successful candidates will have previously demonstrated extreme ownership in simplifying, innovating, or otherwise improving products and/or production lines and processes, and will be highly motivated to send humanity permanently to the moon and Mars.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide end-to-end ownership of&nbsp;high-rate&nbsp;avionics production line design, bring-up,&nbsp;operations, and improvements</li> <li>Perform hands-on&nbsp;design for manufacturability&nbsp;engineering&nbsp;as part of the product development cycle&nbsp;and act as&nbsp;primary&nbsp;liaison between the design and production teams</li> <li>Responsible for avionics part&nbsp;manufacturability and introduction into high-rate manufacturing environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Contribute to design reviews acting as an expert in design for manufacturability, design for testability, yield improvements, supplier assessments, quality control, etc.</li> <li>Act as primary point of contact for non-conforming product, troubleshooting, root cause, failure investigations and corrective actions</li> <li>Lead the initial supply chain development for cable and connector development</li> <li>Own the design and validation of fi
