The Role As a Linux Systems Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based operating systems in enterprise production environments. In this role, you ensure system stability, performance, and availability while providing operational support aligned with defined service levels

You will work hands-on with Linux servers, resolving incidents, performing system maintenance, and collaborating with cross‑functional infrastructure teams. Your work directly supports reliable service delivery, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across Kyndryl-managed environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Linux operating systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) in production environments

Install, configure, harden, and maintain Linux servers to ensure security, stability, and performance. Monitor systems proactively and resolve incidents within established SLAs through effective troubleshooting and log analysis. Perform operating system patching, updates, and basic automation to support availability and capacity management

Document operational procedures and collaborate closely with database, middleware, cloud, and storage teams.
