Generator Lube / Service Field Technician

Foley Equipment is the authorized Caterpillar dealer in Kansas and NW Missouri. Our Generator Lube/Service Field Technician (EPG CVA Field Technician) is primarily responsible for providing high quality preventive maintenance on systems with a primary focus on heavy power generated services. Pay Range: $26.28 - $46.47 What You Will Do in This Role: Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on all systems Repair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task Order replacement parts and services in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectiveness Test and verify correct operation of all maintenance repairs and adjustments Communicate effectively and professionally with customers on their maintenance and repairs

Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads, available for after-hours calls as needed Travel is required for training and/or to assist at other locations. Physical & Working Requirements This role involves hands-on mechanical work in a shop environment. The employee must be able to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation

These functions may include: Safely and repeatedly lifting components weighing up to 115 pounds without assistance Safely lifting, carrying, and lowering components weighing up to 65 pounds without assistance Frequent pushing, pulling, and carrying of heavy materials Climbing on and off equipment and working at varying heights Standing, bending, and working in physically demanding positions for extended periods Safely operating tools and equipment Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulics General knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments Understand crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred) Preferred forklift experience Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related pub
