ExxonMobil in Malaysia In Malaysia, we host a global business and technology center in Kuala Lumpur that provides high-level information technology and engineering expertise to ExxonMobil’s Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses worldwide. In the upstream, we have interests in two Production Sharing Contracts with PETRONAS, while in the Product Solutions business, we supply a portfolio of specialty chemical products to the marketplace. What role you will play in our team A FinOps Engineer specializing in cloud cost optimization is responsible for managing and reducing cloud expenses while ensuring efficient use of cloud resources

What you will do Monitor and analyze cloud usage and spending to identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure that cloud infrastructure is optimized for both performance and cost. Identify unused or underused resources and recommend more efficient usage

Implement and maintain tools and processes to track cloud spending and usage. Work closely with development, finance, and procurement teams to develop budgets and purchase plans. Create clear and concise reports on cost optimization progress for management
