Facility Construction Project Engineer

Project Oversight and Collaboration: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the local Project Manager and construction management team

Collaborate with the local team to develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including schedule, budget, and risk mitigation strategies. Regularly review project progress, identify and address potential issues proactively. Ensure clear and consistent communication with the Global Construction team and other collaborators on project status, risks, and decisions

Global Integration and Standards: Champion the company's global project management standards and guidelines, ensuring their implementation on the local project. Collaborate with internal and external partners at the global level, including engineering, procurement, and equipment teams. Manage communication and information flow between the local project and Global Construction headquarters

Contract Management and Risk Mitigation: Review and approve local contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring consistency to contractual obligations and quality standards. Proactively identify and manage project risks, developing and implementing mitigation plans

Quality and Safety: Champion a culture of safety on the project site, ensuring all activities stay in sync with company safety protocols and local regulations. Lead all aspects of the implementation of a robust quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) program. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify alignment to quality standards
