As an Equipment Engineer in the Metrology Team, you will be responsible for the reliable operation, optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Metrology equipment within the wafer fabrication facility located in Fort Collins, Colorado. You will work closely with Equipment Maintenance Technicians, Unit Process Engineers (UPE), Industrial Engineering, R&D, and external Vendors to meet high volume manufacturing needs with equipment capabilities. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide technical support for metrology and automated sorting tools used in semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and uptime

Conduct and prescribe preventive and corrective maintenance of metrology equipment, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, process engineers, and technicians) to diagnose and resolve tool issues. Support the installation and qualification of new metrology tools, ensuring they meet manufacturing requirements

Perform calibration, software updates, and tool modifications to maintain equipment specifications. Analyze tool performance data and generate reports to improve tool efficiency and identify potential issues early. Provide training and mentoring to technicians and other team members on tool operation and maintenance
