Position Summary: The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager leads and manages employee health, safety, and environmental activities and collaborates with management and other functions within the company. This position partners with facility management to build capability and provide EHS subject matter expertise for manufacturing and/or distribution facilities. The EHS Manager supports facility wastewater operations, hazardous materials, and other compliance program tracking as needed
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Implement programs to reduce workplace injuries and collisions and ensure continued compliance with regulatory and internal policies Implement, evaluate and/or certify effectiveness of company EHS programs and systems through inspections and audits Provide subject matter expert (SME) guidance and leadership to assist company compliance with EHS related rules and regulations Identify improvement opportunities, capture, deploy and share best practices Implement and manage ergonomic, asbestos, ammonia, wastewater, storm water and other compliance programs Work with Facility and Fleet teams to ensure Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) Operatio
