PMTS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - EMB NPI Diags SoC Lead THE ROLE: The Diagnostics SoC Technical Lead represents the Diagnostics team within the embedded SoC/Program Core Team and is accountable for diagnostics strategy, planning, execution, coverage, and post-silicon readiness. The role requires strong technical depth, cross-functional leadership, and execution rigor to ensure high-quality bring-up, risk mitigation, and sustained product health. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate should be passionate about software engineering and possess leadership skills to drive sophisticated issues to resolution

Able to communicate effectively and work optimally with different teams across AMD. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive IP/System-level test plan reviews and signoffs. Collaborate closely with Diag PM, IP teams, Platform Validation, Release teams, Manufacturing teams

Create and drive cross-IP diagnostics strategies, including emulation strategy, debug posture, and post-silicon execution readiness. Own and drive high-risk or disruptive diagnostics and SoC features, stepping in as technical lead where required. Apply a data minded approach to target optimization efforts
