POSITION SUMMARY Through a combination of coursework and on-the-job training, the apprentice will learn the skills of a full-time Electro-Mechanical Technician. A fully trained Electro-Mech technician is a multi-skilled employee with primary responsibilities of maintaining equipment in a proactive manner - troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical abnormalities on all production-related equipment

The apprentice will learn to perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled to eliminate unplanned stoppages, increase asset intensity, and build operator technical capabilities.
