Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><div><strong>ELECTRICAL ENGINEER, PROPELLANT GENERATION (STARSHIP)</strong></div> <div>As a member of the Starship Launch Engineering team, you will focus on the electrical design and field support for propellant generation systems that enable rapid, high-volume production of liquid oxygen and methane. You will work with a group of elite engineers across multiple disciplines to design, install, and activate air separation plants (ASUs), liquefaction equipment, and gas turbine-based power generation infrastructure required to support Starship orbital launch capability
This position is based at Cape Canaveral, FL.</div> <div><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div> <ul data-editing-info="{"applyListStyleFromLevel":true,"unorderedStyleType":1}"> <li> <div>Lead electrical design for air separation plants, liquefaction systems, and gas turbine power generation plants</div> </li> <li>Work directly with internal and external customers to determine electrical requirements/needs and wants.</li> <li>Assist in the development of drawings, design documentation, and reports for aerospace, industrial, and commercial type projects.</li> <li>Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out.</li> <li>Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field in real time.</li> <li>Coordinate with the electrical utility provider for design/engineering to ensure reliable power service to critical site infrastructure.</li> <li>Provide support and direction to electricians and technicians during the construction and activation of power distribution equipment.</li> <li>Intera
