As a Senior/Staff engineer, you will be a part of revolutionary next generation NAND research & development dry etch team driving critical modules listed below

The position promises ample opportunities for innovation, collaboration and testing a new dimension and scaling with next generation NAND. You will work directly with process integration and other process areas such as Wet etch, CVD, Diffusion, Metals, Lithography & CMP. You will work on state of the art and best in class dry etch chambers & own the process roadmap to meet program and yield goals

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Job Responsibilities: Developing dry etch processes to meet the physical & electrical requirements of Micron’s products. Optimizing dry etch processes to reduce cost, process variability, and improve process capability Collaborating with process integration and other process development teams to develop innovative new solutions Conducting root cause and failure mode analysis to understand the limitations of current hardware and driving vendors for solutions Performing fundamental research to drive innovative solutions for next-generation products Maintaining a technology development pilot manufacturing line Support process transfer to production facilities (some domestic and/or international travel may be required) Qualifications & Skills: Demonstrate research and development aptitude in science and engineering fields Examples of experimental design and data analysis
