Role Summary The DMTS is a top technical authority who shapes long‑term wet process and chemistry strategy, drives external‑facing technical insight into roadmap decisions, and expands Micron’s competitive advantage through supplier exclusivity mechanisms and ecosystem collaboration

Expected to set direction across organizational boundaries, influence long‑term technical investment priorities, and establish external perspectives into internal roadmaps. Main Responsibilities Provide vision of future potential of new materials and methods from academic/consortium projects to guide roadmap solution selection. Interact with equipment and materials suppliers to drive innovative technology development, ensure alignment/progress, and build productive strategic relationships

Identify, define, and drive SOW agreements to increase Micron exclusivity of equipment/chemistry/process solutions. Align process technology roadmaps across PD teams and resolve cross‑organizational logistical issues. Guide and mentor senior technical contributors; sustain a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Other Responsibilities Prepare high-impact technical presentations, white papers, and patent filings; initiate strategic collaborations with external partners (universities/research institutes). Integrates AI assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal
