Job Description: Responsible for carrying out servicing and repairs in a commercially acceptable standard and time. Responsible for assisting to provide effective and efficient customer service support and communication. Liaise with Foreman and/or Leading Hand to ensure clear and accurate communication of customer requirements including scope of work and timeframes

Ensure compliance with the company’s policies including Health and Safety and Code of Business Conduct. Mentor and support apprentice technicians. Job Requirement: NZ: Trade qualification - “National Certificate in the Motor Industry” (Automotive Heavy Engineering – Road Transport) or its equivalent

MY: SKM Level 3 / Diploma related to Internal Combustion Engine, Automotive, Heavy Industrial Equipment, Mechanical & Electrical Service Maintenance or its equivalent. Min 3 years of experience as a Diesel Technician, or similar. Good command of English (written & spoken) Attention to detail, Team player, Customer service oriented Able to relocate to New Zealand under localized package (subject to visa approvals & requirements) Sime Darby Motors is the automotive arm of Sime Darby
