THE ROLE: Seeking a candidate with subject matter expertise to join AMD’s Component Quality & Reliability team, driving component quality from concept to end of life to ensure a differentiated experience, de-risk AMD product quality and build customer confidence THE PERSON: The suitable candidate will be accountable for key components used on AMD Products. This is a high visibility role for highly experienced candidates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead supplier interface for key component suppliers across all AMD Business Units
Issue Management: Lead and drive resolution of supplier quality/reliability excursions (primary interface with supplier on quality excursions to drive root cause/containment/corrective action/etc. as required). Component Spec Management: With cross-functional team input, develop and drive supplier compliance to AMD component spec requirements as applicable by commodity (i.e
De-rating, Electrical spec requirements, APQP, reliability, outgoing DPPM quality, etc.) by production release target dates.
