As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Job Description</b></span></h1><p><u><b>Required Qualifications:</b></u></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED equivalency.</li><li>1 year of machine shop operations experience.</li><li>Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation.</li><li>Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.), as well as measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.).</li><li>Basic understanding of mathematical principles (conversions to decimal system, geometry, basic math, etc.).</li></ul><p></p><p><u><b>Essential Functions & Responsibilities: </b></u></p><ul><li>Operate CNC equipment.</li><li>Operate any time and size of single spindle or multiple spindles on a variety of operations (drilling, reaming, boring, tapping, spot facing, countersinking, etc.).</li><li>Use all tools, jigs, figures, and gauges necessary to perform operations.</li><li>Work with close tolerances and fine finishes.</li><li>Perform tool offset and load parts.</li><li>Perform job responsibilities according to internal process specifications and third-party requirements.</li><li>Participate in, and support, team initiatives.</li><li>Utilize proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.</li><li>Report problems to appropriate resources and/or Coach.</li><li>Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products.</li><li>Participate in and support team initiatives.</li><li>Receive guidance from experienced employees.</li><li>Understand and abide by the GE behaviors.</li><li>Other duties as assigned
