Associate, Data Governance PMO

About this role

We’re seeking someone to join our Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk group as an Associate to work as part of the Data Quality team. This role will function as a PMO analyst supporting data governance committees, regulatory engagement, and execution tracking across the firmwide data governance and data quality program initiatives. In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm’s management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk

This is an Associate level position within the Data Quality team who act as the second line of defense for risks related to data quality. The Associate, Data Governance PMO supports the implementation of data governance policies and procedures, focusing on data quality, compliance, and operational excellence. This role collaborates with business and technology teams to ensure data assets are accurate, secure, and fit for purpose

What you’ll do in the role: \- Drive preparation for key governance forums, including engagement with key stakeholders, creation, consolidation, and vetting of materials, documenting and minuting meeting details, and management/curation of backlog agenda items, actions, and decisions \- Support key Project Management processes, like planning, tracking, reporting, and RAID management/ escalation \- Support regulatory exams, including tracking requests, deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and follow-up actions. \- Track data quality remediation issues, action plans, and closure evidence, including milestones, owners, dependencies, and closure status
