The TDI site in Dayton, OH is a part of Unison, a GE Aerospace Company. Unison is uniquely positioned to introduce the next-gen Air Turbine Starter for the CMF56-7B fleet

At the TDI site, Unison also produces Surface Coolers and Bellows to support the aerospace industry.</p><p></p><p><b>Role Overview:</b></p><p>Perform essential duties and responsibility in service cells which includes welding components and manufacturing operations.</p><p></p><ul><li>Welds together metal components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, or manufacturing operations sheet (MOS), using electric arc-welding equipment</li><li>Welds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions. Examines weld for bead size and other specifications</li><li>Manually applies filler rod to supply weld metal</li><li>Cleans weld joint or work piece. Prepares parts for welding</li><li>Positions or clamps work pieces together or assembles them in a jig or fixture</li><li>May tack assemblies together</li><li>Verify fixture calibration</li><li>Maintains eQuals requirements</li><li>Use standards shop measuring devices (calipers and micrometers)</li><li>Basic housekeeping of cell (5S)</li><li>Review, understand and follow work instructions, required specifications and blueprints to perform manufacturing operations.</li><li>Ensures all company paperwork is filled-out accurately</li><li>Fully understands blueprints</li><li>Identify revision levels</li><li>Produce error free products</li><li>Meet production goals</li><li>Work to established Lean Manufacturing guidelines</l
